Compared to many other materials found in the garden, wood is an environmentally beneficial choice, as the energy consumed is far less than that of other man-made materials. Also, sourcing from British forests reduces the pollution for transportation. The foreign hardwoods we use are sourced for strictly managed and independently certified forests. Even the waste products are recycled and reused.

All our suppliers are members of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and EU Timber regulations and are committed to the responsible sourcing of timber and encourage the efficient management of British Forests.

Good quality softwood decking is a great choice when you are on a limited budget and is made from specially treated pine. We also do a mid-range decking made from Siberian Larch, which is extremely durable. At the top end we use hardwoods like British Oak, Opepe, Ipe, Cumeru and Garapa.

At Naturesway we do not use imported hardwoods in any of our projects as the harvesting of these are far too damaging to the environment. We are happy to use reclaimed or recycled timber. We use a selection of very high-quality sustainable products that more than meet your needs, using high quality and conscientious suppliers of British oak and the new timber products that are a novel thermally treated British hardwoods. We also use a superb wood free resin mineral board decking produced by Millboard. This is the ultimate hassle free, incredibly durable and extremely smart solution for those who appreciate long lasting quality.
